- Joann never got married and never had kids, so she reads to little tikes and loves on them. She has committed to taking care of her developmentally handicapped brother all her life. Joann is in her 80′s and touching lives.
- I read a story of a 12 year old boy in an Islamic country that had his hands and feet nailed to a piece of plywood and left to die. When a passer by rescued him they asked him if he wanted revenge on the perpetrators…he said “no I have forgiven them, they don’t know Jesus.” It makes my problems and comfortable Christianity seem so small.
- Martin Luther had a passion to know God’s Word and, it gave him a calling to pass it on to others. He was willing to go into uncharted waters alone and fail if need be to get God’s Word out to the people. It reminds me that the only thing that has ever changed history is one life.
