Van has accepted a larger challenge than this 100 Mile Bike Challenge. He is raising support for wounded veterans. This is a training run for his 500 mile 9/11 American Challenge. He will ride 8 days and cover 500 miles.
His purpose on this ride is to raise support for Veterans that have been injured physically by loosing limbs or emotionally wounded. The Ride 2 Recovery raises money to custom fit bikes to veterans that have physical damage from serving to protect our rights. They may get a recumbent bike to use their arms or a special prosthesis and bike to be able to bike and conquer their physical and emotional challenge in getting on with life.

Thanks Steve! I found out we have a 93 mile, 5000 ft day on the 9/11 American Challenge. I need to do this to train and assess my preparation!
